Summer/School!

Wow I can't believe that school is finally starting! My summer was pretty boring and went be pretty fast. Most of it was spent lifeguarding, working on my eagle project and doing summer homework. The family reunion was, of course, awesome as usual! However, I have to say that the best part of our trip to Utah was when Mom and Dad went shopping and left Aaron and I alone at the Seven Peaks Water Park for the whole day. It was flipping sweet!



So far school this year has been ok. It is kind of hard to balance lifeguarding and 2 AP classes (US History & English) but I'll suvive it somehow. I'm just glad I got my eagle project done this summer. It took forever! I built a picket fence around the garden plots at the senior housing complex. Now that that is finished all I have left to do is the paperwork which is prooving to be a lot harder than I thought it would be!



Well thats pretty much all that is happening in my life right now! Pretty exciting... Not!

Monterey!

A couple of weekends ago, we went to Monterey. We did a bunch of stuff there and while I was there, I decided that it is officially my favorite place on earth! One of the things we did there is ride our bikes. There is a bike path going all over cannery row and down along the beach. We took my dad's truck and brought a few bikes with us and we also had to rent a few from a bike shop on cannery row. It was really fun especially since we could ride down along the beach! Then on the way back, it started to rain really hard. But despite being horribly soaked, we still had an awesome time!

After that we went to the greatest restaurant on the planet... drum roll... BUBBA GUMPS!!!!! As usual it was amazing! Bubba Gumps probably has the best sea food in the world, and it is just fun to be there. It is almost like your entire meal is a party! After that, we went to the Aquarium, we have membership passes so we didn't have to wait line, but once we got inside it was SUPER crowded and we didn't get to see some of the cool exhibits we usually see. It was still fun though!

To finish off the trip we bought some salt water taffy which of course is a family favorite. We always get a whole bunch of different kinds so we can try them all. That is pretty much all we did, and I have to say it was a pretty awesome trip!

Tap Dances!!!

I am really excited about tap this year! Last year for the show, we did hit the road jack which was a HUGE hit (scroll down for video)! It was hilarious. This year we all agreed that it was going to be really hard to top that because it was so great, and to make it even more difficult, one of the dancers isn't doing it this year! We finally found one that is really funny and may come close to topping Hit the Road Jack. It is going to be like a 1920's cops and robbers chase. It is really fast paced and has a lot of new and difficult steps. We are also going to join with the class just younger than us and they will be the cops and we will be the robbers! It should be really funny!

Yesterday during tap we decided on a second dance that we are going to do. It took a while to decide. We are going to do Thank God I'm a Country Boy... lol! I'm not kidding! We are all going to dress like... Hillbillies! I am going to be wearing overalls and I might have a fake banjo to play with it! I am so excited!!!

Heidi is going on a Mission!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out a few days ago when my sister told me and the rest of our family. Heidi is going on a mission!!!!!!!!!! I am really excited. I can't wait to find out where she is going!!!
